How It Works
A field-service job should not disappear into a text thread.
Every PeakMode job follows the same eight steps — from the first request to the final invoice. You always know where it stands.
The workflow
- 1RequestTell us the service type, pickup and delivery locations, deadline, and any contacts or files we need. The more detail upfront, the faster the quote.
- 2QuoteWe review the job — scope, timing, any requirements — and send a quote. Nothing moves until you see the number.
- 3ApproveYou approve the quote. That's the green light. No approval, no dispatch.
- 4ScheduleThe job gets a service window or confirmed timing. You'll know when we're going.
- 5Status updatesTrack the job from requested through in-progress to completed. No wondering if it's still sitting in a queue somewhere.
- 6Completion recordRoute notes, timestamps, delivery confirmation, photo proof where it applies — a real record, not just a thumbs-up text.
- 7InvoiceThe invoice is tied to the job record. Pull it anytime, forward it to accounting, use it to rebook.
- 8RebookRepeat jobs carry the saved details forward. You're not starting from a blank form every time.
What can delay a job
Clean details move faster.
- Missing pickup or drop-off address
- Contact at the location isn't reachable
- Documents aren't ready when we arrive
- Building access, parking, or entry issues
- Specialized job that needs scope review first
What customers receive
A full record, not just a confirmation.
- Original request details on file
- Quote with agreed scope and rate
- Status at every stage of the job
- Completion notes with timestamps and confirmation
- Invoice linked to the job history for easy rebooking
